PAMELA D. BENTON CRADDOCK
Apr 27, 2018Benton Craddock, 49 of Tampa, Florida, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 30, 2017 with her loving family by her side.The daughter of the late William J. Benton and Shirley Smith Benton Morea, she was born June 23, 1968, in Plainview, Long Island, NY.Pam was a 1986 graduate of Valley Central High School in Montgomery, NY and the Roffler School of Hair Design in Florida. She was employed by Publix Supermarkets in Tampa where she was a cake decorator for over 21 years. Pam enjoyed dancing, roller blading, cycling, and painting. She loved shopping for purses, attending Chris Daughtry concerts with her husband, and caring for her cockatoo and cats. She was predeceased by her grandparents, James W. and Anna S. Smith of Middletown, NY, Willie and Annie Benton of Tampa, FL, and mother-in-law, Mrs. Jean Craddock of Miami, FL.Pam leaves behind to mourn her loss, her husband of 22 years, Donald Craddock at home; mother, Shirley Smith Benton Morea of Middletown, NY; aunt, Virginia S. Moore of Montgomery, NY; aunt, Laurel S. Evans (Jeffrey) of Lewisburg, PA; uncle, James W. Smith (Tylene) of Arnold, CA; sister, Cheryl B. Bott (Robert) of Spring Hill, FL; niece, Dr. Angela Bott of St. Petersburg, FL; nephew, William Bott, his fiancee, Sandra Nichols, and great nephew, William Ryder Bott all of Spring Hill, FL. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, Thomas Craddock (Cornelia) of Deltona, FL, and CDR Ronald Craddock USN Ret. (Elizabeth) of Daytona Beach, FL, and several cousins and a score of devoted friends.Visitation was held on January 5, 2018 at the Boza & Roel Funeral Home in Tampa, FL. An entombment service was held at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Lake Mary, FL the following day. Recognizing that pink was Pam's favorite color, a bouquet of pink, heart-shaped balloons with personal messages attached was released in her memory.Memorial contributions may be made to the Tampa Bay Humane Society or the Susan G.
